Thank you for your faithful giving. May the L-rd bless you and your family!
What is Tzedakah?
Tzedaka means “righteousness.” In Judaism, it also refers to charitable giving since giving is a righteous thing to do.
The L-rd says, “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.” (Malachi 3:10).
Tithing, first fruits offerings and tzedakah (charitable giving) are all biblical commandments. By giving, the L-rd has promised to open up many blessings for you and your family!
Why do we support Israel?
The L-rd promises in Genesis 12:3 “I will bless those who bless you, I will curse those who curse you, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Bat Zion supports several ministries in the Holy Land that you may give to. If you have any questions about these ministries, please let us know!
